A little about myself

my first school of art began at the state Museum in d 70 s during my tender years.due to financial crisis & i had to work instead of accepting an offer to further my studies.i am gratefull to ALLAH s.w.t for the talent & passion i had to earn a living as a contract artist,i managed to survive the consecuenses to complete the dioramas assigned.i joined the RTM as set & graphic artist for 10 years contributing ideas,creativities & designs for stage& studio s sets &.backdrops.Promoted to graphic s dept.i had presentations in tv s slides,montage,animation illustrations etc.Resigned in 1982 while working as designer at UTM responsible for students in STUDIO PENDIDIKAN.worked as a freelance designer & illustrator i experienced more freedom .Emphasised more on children s picture book with DBP children s TV scripts, magazines,I had opprtunities to gain knowledge through convensions & workshops. i was inspired by the best illustrator in japan seizo tashima who had taught me how to discover the inner truth & beauty in a child.let them see the world with freedom.we only guide their potentials.the book tittled "the flower girl"was his turning point of sucess!once u read it,then,we,realised chidren really matters!

    FLOWERS THAT whisper has been sold recently.Alhamdulillah for those who support ,art luvers,art critics,admirers and thank you for the appreciation too.i wish i can have more time and budget to explore and to convey my feelings, style,passion,ideas and philosophies to share with you and the others who has been trying to understand the world of "creativity"!Let s change the world for a more meaningfull ,peacefull,secured and a better place to live and utilise every second and be greatfull to the CREATOR...insyaAllah

    I have just completed one more painting for children s series/collections.I really enjoyed every moment of painting it exploring the "child-like"feel and excitement.One will feel ageless then.Children are so innocent!They will admire, remember and let them feel free to express their innerselves bautifully and artistic manner,should it be in art,speech or whatever.They have borderless imagination,they can fly ,swim,run ,whatever through their talent. a naive and pure approach,let them see the world through their eyes,feel through their hearts.As an artist i can hear their cries,i can feel their loneliness,share their happiness the moment i see their work.Children are our inspiration and future asset of leadership.Please view the paintings titled:BEAUTIFULL BUTTERFLIES 1 & 11 series

    APAKAH SENI YANG BERMAKNA KEPADA HAKIKAT KEHIDUPAN SEBENARNYA?Mengikut rumusan pujangga terulong di Pakistan,Sir muhammad Iqbal,Seni sebenarnya mestilah mempunyai sesuatu yang mengingatkan kita dan menginsafkan kita K E B E S A R A N ALLAH swt yang memiliki bumi dan langit serta apa jua di perantaraannya.Kita seharusnya sedar akan kedhaifan dan kehinaan diri kita,betapa kecilnya kita di sisi Allah swt.Seni memainkan peranan sebagai satu wadah dan kaedah untuk merenungi[TAFFAKUR]siapakah kita,dari mana kita dan ke mana kita kesudahannya?Itulah seni yang memberi manafaat BUKAN seperti seni gila dan sasau yang berakar umbikankan hedonisma seperti di Barat memuja memuji kecantikan manusia hingga mengaibkan[OBSENE]Hanya Allah swt yang berhak dipulangkan segala keindahan dan pujian.Maha suci Allah swt. DIA yang maha MENCIPTA kita hanya merumuskan dengan ilmu yang diberiNYA.

    Now at this age i just luv to write to paint and do some interactions with friends read,gardening cooking from my kitchen,herbal garden,when we read about how bad is food now being commercialised having all sorts of uals,unwanted chemicals,from seeds to finished product..........haram elements....it effects even the younger generation.....what can we do now...let s think abou it...it s amal soleh

    I am gratefull to Allah swt the greatest but mercifull for the life and niqmat HE has given me.When i was young i have lots of dreams and feel borderless to achieve.With ambition and determination,i just walked through the bushes,thorns and difficulties to the bus stop(now ECONSAVE and MESJID) a long way from my kampung house..and walked a long way (2 transits) in a cold and breezy morning,with my asthmatic hardshgip to Ampang road girl s school...from Sg.Buloh that i was so thin that they used to call me after a model s name TWIGGY(1964-1968)

    I just come back to this blogger since my last 2 paintings which i decided not to sell......i will paint again insyaAllah...as we women has to do a lot of domestic affairs....cucu coming...so happy to be with them..watched them grow..since ART is something we really need full concentration,peace of mind and soul.....i am very patient for it...Lot of ideas keep pouring...as what i would like to paint...but i have to put aside ,my heart urged to do...but not now.....functions keep coming...i know i missed the feel to paint again......
